Scripture source
Bible Translations
Random Verse Now uses the World English Bible (WEB), Classic edition, for its P0 Scripture experience. The WEB is an English, public-domain Bible translation. Every verse record stores its translation and displays the WEB attribution beside its reference.
Text integrity
Displayed Scripture comes from the project's locked WEB source artifact and stable book, chapter, and verse IDs. The generation pipeline validates 66 books, 1,189 chapters, unique verse IDs, non-empty text, and chapter assets before deployment.
Line wrapping, quotation marks, and typographic presentation may change to fit a screen or share card. The words of the verse are not silently summarized or truncated. If a complete verse cannot fit a share image at the minimum legible size, the product falls back to sharing text and a link.
Reading in context
Translation attribution does not make a standalone verse self-explanatory. Use “Read in Context” to open the full WEB chapter, and compare translations or responsible reference material when wording or interpretation matters to your study.
Corrections
If a displayed quotation, reference, or chapter link appears incorrect, report the exact page URL and verse ID through the correction workflow described on the Contact page.
